As you are aware, InnoVia contains a feature whereby listings
can be shared on social media sites such as Facebook,
LinkedIn, Twitter, etc. The vast majority of this sharing
occurs on Facebook, given its overwhelming popularity.
Facebook has recently changed their policy regarding
advertisements, which includes properties for sale, to
prohibit placement on personal walls (social channels). Users
are, however, encouraged to use fan pages, business pages, and
Facebook Marketplace for this purpose. If you receive a
request from Facebook to remove these advertisements from your
personal wall, we encourage you to comply with the
request.
InnoVia`s Facebook sharing application has been upgraded to
comply with the new policy. It now posts to fan or business
pages, instead of personal pages, and will prompt you to set
up a fan/business page if you do not already have one.
