Need a Free Website?

Continuing on a theme of cost savings for us all let’s take a quick look at a couple of free solutions for creating websites. The two examples below one from Microsoft and one from Google require only moderate computer/web skills. Like anything else with computers and the internet there is a learning curve here. It may be frustrating at the beginning but you can do this and save money bigtime.

If you are paying a third party a lot of money annually or you have wanted to have you own website take a look at these two.


Microsoft.

This is a really one stop shop to create and maintain your own site. Microsoft will even register and give you your own domain (http://www.mysite.com/). Google.


Another free place to create your website. Very easy web page editor and many themes to pick from. See the website here, or click on the graphic below.







In any site you create you can add the NNEREN IDX solution which will add the property search to your website. I had NNEREN write a brief explanation for this:

What is an IDX Feed? An IDX feed allows offices/agents to display their listings and other office’s listings on a company or personal website and it also allows their listings to go to other office/agent websites. NNEREN provides the IDX feed two ways.

Framed IDX – This is free to any NNEREN Subscriber and it is done with a pre-created URL address and the listings are displayed in a framed environment. This is a great solution for those with little to no programming experience.

Download IDX – This is a paid service available to any NNEREN Subscriber where the listing data is pulled off of the server for display on office/agent website. This option requires programming skill.
